Senior Sessions
Most seniors show up with a face they have practiced. That is normal. My job is to get past it.
I direct. You will never be left standing there wondering what to do with your hands. I will tell you where to look, how to shift your weight, what to do with the sweater you brought. And I will show you the back of the camera, often, so you can see it working.
By the end of most sessions, seniors are telling me where to stand.
You pick the place. I will make it work.
Some seniors want the spot that means something. The field behind the school. The block you have walked since you were six. Your kitchen at ten in the morning.
Some want a look instead of a place. Clean and editorial against a white wall. Warm and open in tall grass at the end of the day. Something with more edge downtown.
Some want the lake, and the North Shore is good for that.
Send me three photos you have saved and one sentence about what you are going for. We will build the rest together. One location are included, and we can cover a lot of ground in ninety minutes if they are close.
Where we shoot
Before. We plan. Outfits, locations, and a start time that puts us in the best light of that day. You will know the plan before you get in the car.
During. Ninety minutes. Two locations. Up to three outfits. Direction from the first frame to the last.
After. A sneak peek within 48 hours. Your full gallery in two weeks, with a print shop built in.
Most senior photographers take two weeks just to show you the images and another four to six to get prints in your hands. You will have something to post the same week.
How it works
Two to three outfits you already feel good in. Not the ones you think you are supposed to wear.
One layer. A sweater, a jacket, an overshirt. Layers add texture, and they give your hands something to hold. It is the most useful thing you can pack.
You will receive a full style and prep guide to help you plan what to wear and what to bring.
