Photography Services on Chicago's North Shore
Real light, real people, no stiff rows and no "say cheese." I photograph families, newborns and couples across Glenview, Wilmette, Winnetka and the rest of Chicago's North Shore. Will travel for assignments.
Family Photography
Your people, as they are.
No posed rows. We take a walk, we play, and I catch what's actually there. The piggyback ride. The shy grin. The way your youngest still reaches for your hand.
Starting at $550.
Maternity & Newborn Photography
The very beginning.
Photographed at home, with your coffee going cold on the counter. No props, no overheated studio, no wrapping anyone into shapes they didn't ask for. We work around feeds and naps, not the other way around.
Starting at $550.
Engagement & Wedding Photography
Before the crowd arrives.
One golden hour that's just the two of you, before the planning takes over. Lakefront at sunset, the spot where you met, a quiet street in town. You'll forget I'm there by the second location.
Starting at $650, weddings $5,000.
Commercial, Branding & Headshots
Your work, seen.
A headshot should look like you on a very good day. A branding session goes further: you, your space, your process, and the details clients fall for before they ever meet you. Fifteen years in marketing and creative, six of them leading a ten-person team through rebrands, campaigns and full website builds. I know which images a business actually uses, and which ones sit in a folder.
Individual headshot, $325. 30 minutes, guided posing, three fully retouched images.
Team headshots, $150 per person. Four-person minimum, and I come to you. One morning, consistent across your whole site.
Branding session, $900. 90 minutes on location, 60 or more edited images, full usage license for web and social.
Small business half-day, $1,200. Up to four hours, multiple setups, team portraits included.

Sessions here typically run $500 to $1,000 depending on length and what's included. Mine start at $550 for 60 minutes with 40 or more edited images and a private gallery. Prints and albums are priced separately in your gallery.

Fall is the busiest season on the North Shore and September and October dates go first, usually by mid-August. For newborns, reserve in your second trimester and we'll shoot within baby's first three weeks. For weddings, twelve to eighteen months out is normal.
-
Yes. Portrait sessions within 25 miles of Glenview are included, which covers the North Shore and Chicago's north side. Anything further is quoted with your date
-
Almost nobody thinks they are. Before your session I'll ask you to send a couple of photos of yourself you actually like, so I know what you're going for, and I'll ask whether you want these natural or more polished. Then I'll direct you the whole time. You will not be standing there wondering what to do with your hands.
-
You'll get my full style guide when you book. Short version: soft neutrals, one accent color, comfortable, coordinated, not matching, and no big logos.
-
I keep a running list for every season and time of day: Gillson Park at golden hour, Elder Lane Beach when you want it quiet, the Glen or the Grove in Glenview, the Winnetka bluffs, and Kenilworth's tree-lined streets in October. We'll pick together, or we'll shoot in your own backyard, which is more often the right answer than people expect.

A sneak peek within 48 hours. Your full gallery within two weeks, because the point is to have these, not to wait for them.
-
We reschedule, free, no drama. Overcast is often better light than sun, so we only move for actual rain.
-
Then we have a normal toddler. Snack break, reset, keep going. Some of my favorite frames come right after the tears.
-
No. On a mini day I edit every session together, so minis skip the 48-hour peek. Your full gallery arrives within two weeks, same as every other session.
-
Yes, a limited number each year, plus travel dates. Collections begin at $5,000 and I'm currently booking 2027. Engagement clients get first look at my calendar.
-
A headshot is one great photo of your face. A branding session is the story of your business: you, your space, your work in motion, shot to match your website and feed.

Yes, and I'd love to. I shoot throughout Chicago and Chicagoland, and I travel. If you're getting married somewhere that means something to you, a lake house, a hillside, a city you love, ask me about it. For anything requiring a flight I bill travel and two nights' lodging at cost, and I ask for a little more notice on the calendar
